ESP LTD's popular B-200 series bass guitars is sure to spark the interest of bass players on the lookout for a new challenge, as it includes this six-string ESP LTD B-206SM. The letters SM stand for 'spalted maple' and refer to the visible wood grain in its decorative maple top. The body itself is made of ash. The black grain of the maple wood top really comes through thanks to the See Thru Black Satin finish. It features a thin U neck profile made of 5-ply maple and rosewood.

ESP LTD B-206SM fat bridge

The ESP LTD B-206SM is equipped with two SB humbuckers and a 3-band equalizer, all designed in-house by ESP themselves. The humbuckers deliver a boost/cut in the low, mid and high and boasts a broad range of sounds. The bridge on this bass is durable and allows vibrations to pass through to the body effortlessly, making the ESP LTD B-205SM an all-round instrument that's suitable for all music styles.
