Il Fender Acoustic Junior GO, dalla forma stretta e rilegata in pelle, è alimentato da una batteria ricaricabile ed è stato costruito per offrire al musicista di strada un compagno di performance in grado di modellare i toni. Con una carica completa, questo amplificatore combo offre fino a cinque ore di riproduzione prima di doverlo collegare a una presa di corrente. La capacità di 100 Watt offre un volume più che sufficiente per raggiungere le persone che si trovano laggiù, dall'altra parte della strada, soprattutto perché il cabinet è dotato di un cavalletto inclinabile che consente di puntare il diffusore verso l'alto e di proiettarlo completamente.
L'Acoustic Junior GO: effetti, looping, accompagnamento e registrazione
Poiché questo combo dispone di due ingressi combi jack/XLR, è in grado di amplificare anche le voci e una chitarra elettroacustica, o addirittura due voci o due elettroacustiche. Modellate il suono con l'equalizzatore a tre bande e scegliete uno degli otto effetti incorporati per creare atmosfera. È incluso anche un looper da 60 secondi per aggiungere strati su strati alla vostra performance e, se utilizzate tracce di accompagnamento, potete collegare in modalità wireless uno smartphone o un tablet con tecnologia Bluetooth o semplicemente collegarlo all'ingresso stereo mini-jack. Sono state installate anche due uscite XLR per facilitare il collegamento al PA sul palco, oltre a una porta USB per il collegamento diretto a un laptop o a un desktop per registrazioni impeccabili.

Maybe its because I am not really a Fender guy but I wasn't happy with the sound. Its too boxy and too tight for my taste. I sorely missed the vibrant, clear definitions of the Roland. Furthermore, Fender built a number of effects into the amp, however, its just not understandable to me that its not possible to select the reverb and the chorus at the same time. What were the folks at Fender thinking.....no idea, but it looks to me like this amp was conceptualised to be sold in large volumes to beginners. In my humble opinion, any decent acoustic amp has to have a Chorus and a Reverb built in and available to be used concurrently. Instead, Fender added a number of additional effects that may be useful once in a decade, such as an echo. What's more, the quality of the effects are not the same level as the Roland. Especially the chorus sounded a bit artificial to me and didn't give me anything close to the bright, shimmering tone that Roland/Boss have.
What I did like about the amp is that it did have the built-in accu and that it provides 100 Watts in a compact format, and the built in looper (for which you really need a foot pedal to be useful, which you need to buy separately at a price). If you don't care as much about the sound as I do and you need to quite a bit of power for larger venues or outdoors this Amp actually could be a good choice for you.
I have sent back the Fender amp and I am going to try the Boss Acoustic Singer now. With Boss and Roland being the same company my hopes are high that I get the sound from the Roland in a bigger amp.
