Since it regrows quickly after it's been harvested, bamboo is amazingly sustainable and doesn't need to be reseeded. It's no doubt one of the reasons why Kala have used multiple plies to craft the KA-BMB-T Solid Bamboo. The different layers are clearly visible and give this little tenor uke a beautiful natural look as well as an extremely bright sound with masses of volume, forceful projection and strong sustain. Just like a classical guitar, the ukulele features a slotted headstock with black machine heads that contrast nicely with the natural satin finish of the wood, and Kala even throw in a padded UB-T gig bag fitted with shoulder straps and an accessory pocket.
