Descrizione

If you want to hang your guitar to the wall, you can choose a standard wall mount or you can go for a Woodies hanger. Standard wall mounts might be handy but far from elegant. Guitar hangers by Woodies are both - they remain discreet even after you've taken off your guitar, and they allow you to position your guitar just the way you want.

Construction

Unlike most guitar wall mounts, these hangers by Woodies do not clamp around the neck of your guitar. Instead, they make use of the instrument's strap buttons. The clamps are made of transparent, almost indestructible polycarbonate. Some guitar models (like the double-cut models) feature a strap button at the back of the body - these Woodies guitar hangers type 3 are made specifically for these models.

Prima voor mijn SG. Maar nog steeds die 7mm plug? Die van 2017 hangt er nog steeds overigens naar alle tevredenheid :-)

Eenmaal opgehangen staat het geweldig.
Twee dingetjes: houdt er rekening mee dat om de nekstrapbutton een vlak oppervlak moet zitten van 4 bij 4 cm. Als dat niet zo is, moet je toch zelf nog gaan zagen in de hanger (zoals ik deed), ik had geen zin om de strapbutton te verplaatsen. Verder worden er pluggen van 7mm bijgeleverd. 7mm serieus, Woodies? Wie heeft er een betonboor van 7mm liggen? Ik niet. Dus 6 mm pluggen gebruikt. Gaat ook. Wel andere schroeven moeten gebruiken. Maar zoals gezegd: het staat geweldig: de houders zijn nagenoeg onzichtbaar, het zit naar mijn gevoel ook goed stevig vast, je kan je gitaar redelijk eenvoudig eruit halen om te spelen. Dus OK.
