In that case, the Nowsonic Top Stand Studio 105 offers another reliable solution. As a heavy-duty model, this stand is specifically designed to hold massive monitors, say, something like a 3-way full-range speaker fitted with a 12-inch woofer. It's able to take on a load a 60kg load and, to give you an idea, a regular 8-inch monitor generally only weighs around 10 to 15kg. For extra stability, the three tubes supporting the top platform can even be filled with sand.
