The DJ Tool Kit by Serato is equipped with 3 essential expansions for Serato DJ: Serato Flip for recording and playing back cue points, Pitch ‘n Time for operating pitch and speed, and the FX Kit, which consists of 45 special effects for enriching your sound.
Serato DJ Flip
Serato DJ Flip enables you to record and playback cue points and censor actions as desired. With this expansion, you can rediscover your tracks in a completely new way! You can add to your songs, make them shorter, remix them, shuffle tracks without changing the original track. All Flip controls are MIDI-mappable, which means you can assign a certain action to a specific button on your controller! You can store up to six ‘Flips’ per track and loop them as well.
Serato DJ Pitch 'n Time
Serato Pitch ‘n Time makes it possible to adjust the pitch of your tracks and synchronise between them. You can also adjust the tempo of your tracks to extremely fast or slow without changing the pitch or sacrificing any audio quality.
Serato DJ FX Kit
The FX Kit by Serato consists of 45 special effects distributed over three packs, each with its own unique theme. The Back Pack has analogue and old-school effects such as Tape Echo, Pitch Looper, Time Stretch and Audio Filter effects. The Jet Pack is more trippy and spacey with Shepard Filter, U.F.O., Space Verb and Noise Pulse effects. The Chip Pack has techy 8-bit effects like Side Delay, Noise Sweep, Crush Echo and Shifter LoFi. For examples of these effects, go to the Serato website.
