What's so great about Sunlite software is that it's extremely easy to use - after you purchase the software, you can start using it immediately. Simply load the fixture profiles of your lighting, indicate the right addresses, and you're good to go.

There's no need to panic if you have a scanner or moving head that's not in the program's library. Just visit Sunlite manufacturer Nicolaudie's web site, and you'll find numerous profiles that have been created by Sunlite users. If you still can't find the profile you're looking for, you can use the Scanlibrary Editor to easily create a fixture profile yourself.

Using the Suite 2 Economy Class

Once your lighting profiles are loaded, you'll have immediate access to smooth movements and all the functions of the lamp. Simply add hotkeys to your keyboard, practise a bit, and you'll be able to create a spectacular lighting show.

The Cycle function allows you to program a show that runs automatically - this makes it possible to record in real time, and adjust the step and fader times later on. Thanks to the 3D Easy View function, you'll see your lighting move on your screen, making it possible to program a show on your home PC without having to connect your lighting equipment. In other words, this is a highly versatile program that is incredibly easy to use.

Contents of the DMX software package

The Economy Class package consists of the complete Sunlite Suite 2 software and a versatile USB dongle. This dongle features a DMX input so that you can connect a DMX controller for controlling the software. The DMX input can be used as second output if you want to extend to 1,024 DMX channels. You can also find a U 10 connector and an input for external power supply, so that it can work as a stand-alone device.
