Waldorf Pulse 2 sintetizzatore
The Waldorf Pulse 2 has been modelled after the legendary original Pulse synth, but comes in a modern new housing. The Pulse 2 is equipped with three analogue oscillators and a noise generator. It also features a large 128 x 64 display and an impressive 500 different sound programs. That’s right, this small Waldorf synth has quite a few tricks up its analogue sleeve. It produces powerful bass tones, but also offers drums & percussion, arpeggio + sequencer lines and FX sounds.
Housing and controls of the Pulse 2
Just like the Waldorf Blofeld, the Pulse 2 has a rugged metal housing. Thanks to its desktop-style design you can easily incorporate it into your studio - just place it on your studio desk. The Pulse 2 is operated by means of only a few basic controls. Rotary encoders control volume and parameters, and the arpeggiators, LFOs, VCFs and VCAs can be selected by means of buttons.
The connectivity of the synthesizer
Even though the Pulse 2 has been modelled after a golden oldie, it offers modern functionality. The synth has a full-fledged USB interface and also features MIDI connectivity. Direct manipulation by means of an external signal source is a possibility, and the Pulse 2 is backwards compatible with the original Pulse.
