Descrizione
Teenage Engineering sfodera il PO-32 Tonic della serie Operator: un sintetizzatore di batteria e percussioni coi fiocchi, dotato di microfono integrato e funzionalità di importazione ed esportazione. Questo gioiellino è il magnifico risultato della collaborazione con Magnus Lidström, il genio che ha inventato l'effetto CWO nel celebre OP-1 e dato vita a svariati plugin pluripremiati. Con il PO-32 Tonic si aprono le porte di un vasto panorama sonoro, con una fresca selezione di effetti punch-in.
Condividere idee in maniera semplice
Grazie al microfono integrato sarà possibile trasferire pattern e suoni da un'unità all'altra con la massima facilità. Gli utenti della versione modulare di Microtonic potranno inviare patch e pattern al Tonic in wireless. Teenage Engineering ha trovato un modo per permettervi di condividere, importare ed esportare idee in maniera semplice e veloce. Ci sono davvero pochi sintetizzatori di percussioni con un rapporto qualità-prezzo del genere!

Uiterst intuïtief apparaatje en een bijzonder compacte drumcomputer met een goede sound. Voordeel is de mogelijk deze te koppelen aan de microtonic software en je eigen beats op het toestel te plaatsen.
Mocht je de software niet bezitten zijn en tal val bestanden te vinden op het net die je in 5 seconden op je PO tonic zetten kan.
De standaard basskick is trouwens enorm voor deze lage prijs.
De performance effects heb ik op dit moment op geen enkel ander instrument in mijn setup en daarom is het een blijver.

Erg leuke drum gadget. Klein en handzaam van formaat maar boordevol met opties.
De variaties zijn eindeloos in verschillende ritmes, geluiden en beats. De beschikbare patterns kunnen achter elkaar afgespeeld worden waardoor je snel en makkelijk complexe beats kan maken.
Als je de geluiden die er op staan zat bent kun je vrij eenvoudig met de VST-plugin nieuwe geluiden maken en overbrengen op de PO-Tonic.
De geluidskwaliteit verbaasde me, het frequentie bereik is enorm en klinkt absoluut niet goedkoop.
Deze gadget is handig te combineren met andere synths waardoor je al snel aan het experimenteren en spelen raakt.

Intuitieve drum computer/sequencer voor snel maken van composities. Goede geluidskwaliteit. Gaat heel lang (ca. 1 maand) mee op 2 AAA batterijen. Een behuizing is aan te raden als je de Pocket Operator (PO) graag meeneemt, gezien het fragiele ontwerp. De aanschaf prijs daarvan (rond de 30-40 euro) is naar mijn mening absurd.
Het sterke van deze PO t.o.v. de anderen is dat er de mogelijkheid is de patches (synthesizer geluiden) aan te passen. Hiervoor dien je echter wel de MicroTonic (Win/Mac) software voor 100 euro aan te schaffen. Van de 16 effecten zijn er 6 veelvuldig bruikbaar in mijn gebruik en ik vind het jammer dat ze niet aanpasbaar zijn in de software.
Als de MicroTonic software zou zijn inbegrepen bij de aanschaf zou ik het product 5 sterren geven, maar vanwege dit gebrek is het een dure PO.
