The Digitone 8-voice polyphonic desktop synthesizer by Swedish brand, Elektron is based on FM synthesis combined with a subtractive synthesis signal flow for plenty of possibilities! FM synthesis is notoriously difficult to get the hang of at first, but Elektron have taken that into consideration while developing the Digitone. This unique device has a broad selection of sounds and is easy to use. The intuitive menus and clear OLED display are a simple gateway to shaping your own sounds with with the use of an impressive collection of presets!

Elektron Digitone: the right sounds

The Digitone enables you to create 16-step sequences directly on the device itself. Thanks to the endless adjustment options, you can fine-tune every step for a personalised, organic sound. Adjust the parameters of each FM algorithm, built-in effect or step in minute detail using the micro timing function.

Modern synthesis

The combination of the classic signal flow of subtractive synthesis and FM synthesis fused in this tight little unit is what the future looks like. With the Elektron Digitone, the sounds you want are literally at your fingertips. If you want majestic sound-scapes or a chaotic combination of noises cast through a more current lense, you need the necessary digital integration in order to make this work. The Digitone offers this. As well as comprehensive possibilities, you can operate this synth via MIDI or integrate it into your DAW and use it as a plugin, thanks to Overbridge technology.
