Coupled with smooth, intuitive control via a 7-inch TFT Color Wide VGA LCD touchscreen, this is the ultimate sonically-creative toolbox. Endlessly experiment with masses of options, built-in effects and filters and harness real-time control over the sound via the fitted wheel and Super-Knob. To make sure you can get started immediately, Yamaha have even thrown in a PC and Mac compatible copy of Steinberg Cubase AI.

The MODX7: Worlds Collide

Under the hood, the Yamaha MODX7 has a lot of the same tech going on as the much-praised Montage. So you get access to the full-force of AWM2 (Advanced Wave Memory 2) and FM-X (Frequency Modulation) and the potent sound-shaping synthesis they're capable of. On top of that, this pianist-friendly instrument can emulate acoustic instruments and full drum kits, aiding the composition of expressive contemporary electronic music from the ground up.

Ha scritto quanto segue su Yamaha MODX7 76-Key Synthesizer

Al een tijdje mijn zinnen gezet op de Yamaha sound, als aanvulling op mijn verzameling analoge en digitale synths. Dus een montage of een modx, de 6 is toetsenboord te kort, de 8 te groot/zwaar en ik heb reeds een mooie 88 toets. Moet dus een 7 zijn, en uiteindelijk besloten voor de “low cost” en ultra lichte modx7 te gaan. Echter beschikbaarheid van deze synth op dit moment lastig, ik heb dus besloten voor een b-stock te gaan. Uiteraard wat goedkoper, en gezien de Bax service risiko loos, kan altijd geruild etc. Wel in de winkel samen met de verkoper de doos opengemaakt, om te kijken of alles er in zit. Helemaal top, geen enkel gebruiks spoor, dus mee naar huis..
Wat een geweldige synth, heerlijk uitzoeken wat er allemaal mee kan, en geweldige (yamaha) sound. Keybed idd erg licht, niet echt voor de “pianoman”, maar wat wil je gezien het gewicht van deze synth.
En wat heerlijk om mee te nemen naar oefenruimte etc
