Naturally, this educational edition is also suitable for people who teach Cubase.

Educational edition, same options

The new and improved Cubase Pro 8 is a sequencer that offers all you need to make your own professional productions. From composing and arranging to recording and mixing - it's all possible with Cubase Pro 8's numerous effects and instruments. Thanks to a sample rate of up to 192 kHz and a 32-bit floating point, the program delivers high-quality audio with virtually infinite headroom. Offering a choice of 73 audio effects and 18 MIDI effects, including VST Amp Rack, REVerence convolution reverb and the Voxengo CurveEQ, the software provides you with plenty of tools to create professional productions. The Cubase PRO 8 educational edition features the same options as the full version, the only restriction being that you can't use it for commercial ends. If you're studying or teaching music production, it's the ideal package for you!

Steinberg Cubase PRO 8: new features

Compared to previous editions, Cubase Pro 8 offers a considerable number of new features. To keep complex mixes simple, it is now possible to assign complete groups to a single VCA fader, and the entire mixing engine has been updated, allowing for easier automating, routing and metering. Another important improvement is the render in-place function, which enables you to bounce audio and MIDI tracks to a new audio track, including effects. That way, you'll never overtax your CPU, even with complex FX or MIDI setups. MIDI tempo detection allows you to play along with a MIDI track - if your recording is out of sync with the grid and tempo track, this new function reconstructs the tempo change and aligns your performance to the grid.

Allen Morgan Pop-Rock Toolbox

Producers know that inspiration can hit at any time, no matter how inconvenient. Setting up a complete session with instruments takes time, however, and before you know it, your creative flow has dried up. Fortunately, Steinberg has equipped Cubase PRO 8 with the Allen Morgan Pop-Rock Toolbox, a collection of 30 different construction kits with at least 25 audio and MIDI tracks each, which are routed to predefined instruments and effects. Using this Toolbox, you'll be able to quickly turn your ideas into demos, without having to set up a time-consuming session first. Get to work with Cubase PRO 8, and your creativity will know no bounds!

Steinberg Cubase PRO 8 EE versione educativa

Als student heb ik voor de educatieve versie van Cubase pro 8 gekozen. Dit scheelt enorm veel geld en toch krijg je de volledig werkende versie, en dat is voor een arme student erg fijn. Het is een zeer uitgebreid pakket met alle mogelijkheden die je maar kunt bedenken. Zeer overzichtelijk en er zijn video's toe gevoegd via een link naar youtube, waarmee je snel aan de slag kunt met Cubase. Om gebruik te kunnen maken van de educatieve versie dien je via deze site een link aan te klikken waardoor je naar Steinberg door wordt gelinkt en d.m.v. je studentenkaart de versie aan kunt vragen via de Steinberg online shop maar werkt ook als je via Bax-shop besteld. Ik heb dit gedaan voor ik het pakket heb besteld. Toen ik Cubase binnen kreeg de dag nadat ik het besteld had bij Bax-shop kon ik dan ook onmiddellijk registreren en aan de slag. Een aanrader voor elke muzikale student.
