The Olympus VN-711PC handheld voice recorder is the ideal starter model for anyone who is looking for a simple, user-friendly recorder. This model has an internal memory of 2 GBs, enough for approximately 800 hours of recording in LP mode. Recordings are stored as WMA-type files. These files have great data compression so your files take up little storage space.

A generous 800 hours of recording
Two GBs of storage space, that’s a lot of recordings! If you are recording in LP mode, you can store up to 830 hours of audio. You can save your recordings in one of five folders, each folder containing up to 200 files. This easy folder system enables you to quickly find and play back any recording you’re looking for.
