Mapex Meridian Birch floor tom 16 x 16 inches Indigo Mist: features

This 16 x 16-inch floor tom has special lugs that make minimal contact with the shell. These single-point-of-contact lugs, as Mapex calls them, allow the shell to resonate freely, enhancing its sound. Furthermore, the floor tom is fitted with spring-loaded floor tom legs that hail from the higher-end Saturn series. These legs keep your floor tom firmly in place and will not hamper with its natural resonance.

Finally, the beautiful finish is worth mentioning. All lacquer finishes in the Meridian series are applied by hand, and this Indigo Mist finish is the icing on the cake!
