Jackson have improved their most affordable guitar line for 2013. The JS series now offers you an enhanced classic Jackson sound, greater looks and increased playability for a budget-friendly price. The JS32 Kelly in high-gloss black is a pointed electric guitar for the fast playing (metal) guitarist. It's equipped with two powerful humbucker pickups and a double locking Floyd Rose bridge that keeps the guitar optimally tuned, even after the most violent use of the tremolo.
Jackson JS32 Kelly: body and neck
The body of the Jackson JS32 Kelly is made of basswood, a lightweight wood type that provides a tight sound with rich mid tones. The 24-fret maple neck is bolt onto the body and has been reinforced with graphite truss rods for extra strength and stability. The rosewood fretboard is fitted with Jackson's famous shark fin inlays and white bindings, similar to those of more expensive models.
Compound radius fretboard
The fretboard of the JS32 Kelly has a compound radius. This means that the fretboard is quite rounded near the lower positions, and flattens as you move towards the body. As a result, you'll be able to comfortably play low open chords and barre chords. You’ll also find that even with a super low action, you’ll still be able to bend the strings at higher positions easily without any buzzing or loss of notes.
