The Framus Mayfield Custom is equipped with an ES-335 body with double cutaway, humbucker pickups, a three-way pickup switch and a Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop tailpiece. This beautiful semi-acoustic guitar brandishes a Burgundy Red finish and is the perfect instrument for styles such as jazz and blues. Its clearly defined attack and perfect mix of hollow and solid-body properties also makes this guitar perfect for the rougher types of music.

The Burgundy Red Framus Mayfield Custom has a laminated maple body with an arched top. Its sides are made of solid AAA Flamed Maple and so is its set-in neck which supports an ebony fretboard with 22 high jumbo IFT frets. This guitar is made in Germany to the highest standards, ever aspiring perfection. The ES-335-style guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan humbuckers for a full, rugged sound.

About Framus

The Framus company was founded in 1946 by Fred Wilfer. Their hand-built, high-quality guitars found their way to guitarists the likes of Bill Wyman and John Lennon. However, as Framus were forced to stop production in 1975, these guitars were at risk never to be seen again. Twenty years later, under the Warwick flag, Hans Peter Wilfer - the son of Fred - rekindled the Framus fire.
