Its Candy Apple Red colour reflects the tonal character of this attractively priced guitar as this Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 HS HT is by no means intimidated by a proper rock set. This instrument has a carefully finished appearance and a maple neck and fretboard (with a San Dimas profile) that features 22 jumbo frets with filed-down edges for optimal playing comfort.
Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas: smooth and strong
Despite its price, Charvel spared no expense when selecting the finish and components for the Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 HS HT. Its alder body isn't heavy, yet it produces a very rich tone. Its smooth neck has a compound-radius fretboard that grows gradually wider and flatter from headstock to body, ensuring great playability without the need to disjoint your fingers. Two Seymour Duncan pickups produce a powerful output. In the bridge position, the familiar JB TB4 humbucker lies waiting to attack with a bright sound to which the Seymour Duncan STK-S6 adds a classic rock sound.
Charvel guitars
Charvel have always been known for their high-quality guitars for hard rockers and metal heads. Thanks to the Pro Mod series, even loud shredding amateur guitarists are supplied with many of the beloved Charvel features at a very reasonable price. Think of a narrow neck, a compound radius fretboard, a Floyd Rose tremolo and Grover tuners, for example.
