Descrizione

Influential guitarist Jake E. Lee is, among other things, known for this virtuoso guitar performances on Ozzy Osbourne records Bark at the Moon and Ultimate Sin. Lee's style fuses '70s-style hard rock with '80s-style licks and riffs, which definitely influences the way he dials in his sound. Following the poplar JEL-100 and JEL-20 signature heads, Lee and Friedman teamed up again. This time, they joined forces to build the IR-J: a two-channel, pedalboard-friendly tube preamp that spits elastic, rock-ready sound.

The IR-J: Rock 'n' Roll Rebel

Powered by a pair of 12AX7 preamp valves and advanced DSP-driven IR simulation, the Friedman IR-J Jake E Lee Signature Dual Tube Preamp & DI delivers studio-quality sound that can be sent directly to an audio interface or PA system. The two independent channels come complete with volume, gain and 3-band EQ controls so you can smoothly transition from bluesy cleans to intense overdrive.

Unrivalled Versatility

Incredibly flexible, the Friedman IR-J also gives you the pick of various different gain structures; built-in TS-style boosts per channel for extra control over the sound; and 18 of Dave Friedman's personal favourite impulse responses. Whether you hook it up to the PA directly or plug your headphones into the phones output for private practice, this superb, rock-focussed guitar preamp is a joy to work with.
