Two Notes ReVolt Bass Bass Guitar Amplifier Simulator

C'est vraiment un super préampli.
Le son est terrible autant sur le canal clean que sur le canal Dirt.
Un gros bémol pour moi c'est la canal Drive qui a mon gout ne sert a rien si ce n'est a utiliser un canal pour rien.
J'aurai largement préféré deux canaux clean. N'utilisant pas toujours le même son pour chaque morceau.

en als ik dan toch één minpunt moet geven is het dat niet elk kanaal een aparte EQ heeft want wat voor de vintage dirt werkt, werkt niet persé voor de modern drive.

hoe dan ook een geweldige en veelzijdige pre amp waarvan ik denk hem nog lang te gebruiken.

Already a fan of Two notes products (I own the LeBass and Torpedo CABM+), I bought the Revolt Bass with my eyes (ears) shut without having tested it.

Note that I found LeBass already above the preamps of other well-known brands (I had tested ampeg, markbass, sansamp and EBS). And here I can say that Revolt goes up another step!

After only 20min I found everything I loved in the LaBass, a cut above with its 3 dedicated channels.
The Classic Clean, warm and round tube for the slap without breaking the ears in the treble.

The Vintage Dirt, superb combination of channels A and B in parallel with the LeBass (tube and transistor), which brings grain and makes my bass stand out in the mix with beautiful harmonic distortions in the mids and highs and a perfect tonal balance.

What about Modern Drive? a super versatile killer thanks to a high gain “but how dare they put that in this box” combined with the Dry/Wet which allows to keep the precision of the string playing.
I haven't explored it to the limits yet, but I already love it in advance ❤

In conclusion, the Revolt Bass is even easier to use than LeBass, and it clearly made me rediscover my JazzBass this morning for 2 hours, with a “more organic, warmer, abrading and foaming sound just right…” (difficult to qualify what we like in the sound).
No, I haven't changed my strings or my fingers 🙂

I tested it on my Fender Rumble 100 amp, then on the DynIR simulations of my Torpedo CABM+ : Ampeg Portaflex B15N (BassFlex), Marshall MBC810 (BritFridgeT) and Vox T60.

I can only recommend this magical Revolt Bass & CABM+ combo (comes with the VST Wall of Sound for those who mix).

I have no doubt that the Revolt Guitar is of the same level... I may be tempted...
