Besides the tried-and-tested drive level and EQ controls, the second edition comes with a few sweet extras. A bass frequency switch has been added as well as a mid-range control pot plus a switch, so the equalising can be moulded in surgical detail, assuring you of optimum amplified sound, even when you hook up a five or six string bass. In essence, the Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI Version 2 is an insanely complete DI fit for the rig of any self-respecting bassist and, since this is the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, it comes wrapped in a tight aluminium housing and fitted with steel control pots.
