The SpectraDrive crams the high-grade sound of TC Electronics bass amps into one solid little stompbox that can be set up to completely replace a bass amp on stage, in the studio, or even at home with the help of a set of headphones. The tight control layout of the four-band equaliser aids intuitive adjustments, and the SpectraComp pot can be used to balance and fatten up your sound while maintaining the natural tone of your bass. This pedal also comes equipped with a Bonafide Buffer, so you're assured of a pure, lossless signal, even when using long cables.

The SpectraDrive: Classic Valve Distortion & Overdrive

As well as enhancing your sound, this preamp stompbox adds more dynamics to your set up due to the presence of a TubeDrive which accurately emulates the response of the overdriven and distorted preamps and poweramps of classic valve amplifiers. Adjust the Gain and Level pot to control the input and output level and use the TubeDrive to dictate the overdrive amount. Even when deactivated, this pedal keeps working for you via a True Bypass circuit.

Connections, Extra Switches & TonePrint

A 6.35mm mono jack output has been fitted for connection to a bass amplifier, and a balanced XLR line-drive output complete with pre/post function has been fitted for direct connection to a mixer, studio desk or PA. Hook up your tuner using the jack thru port, and the standard jack input can even be toggled from an instrument to a line input. Any possible ground-loop hum can be eliminated using the ground lift regulator, and since this is a TC Electronic creation, you get full access to their unique TonePrint technology.
