A great soft-synth just got even greater: Rob Papen's Blue II is a mind-bendingly extensive virtual synthesizer developed with EDM producers in mind. Mashing FM synthesis up with subtractive synthesis, wave-shaping, and phase-distortion, this chunk of software can be manipulated with ease to shape an immense, unending sonic palette.
Rob Papen Blue II: New Features
The interface has been spruced up and a preset and bank manager have been added alongside a stack of new wave forms grants access to choirs, flutes, strings, and other instruments, alongside synths. Since wave-sequencing is now possible, evolving pads are now put within reach, while a new virtual XY-controller provides smooth dual parameter tweaking. All this potential is only multiplied further when you throw the FM synthesis on top, as well as the finishing touch of four virtual effects, each with fresh algorithms.
