The B18EDCH is a professional, high-quality china cymbal from Meinl's Byzance series. This model just happens to have an extra dry finish, but it has been hand-crafted and carefully checked in Meinl's facility in Turkey. Thanks to the highly durable B20 bronze alloy, you are assured that this cymbal will keep its distinct tone for years to come.

Meinl Byzance B18EDCH

Because of the complex finish, which includes partial lathing and full hammering, this Extra Dry China produces a dark, dirty sound with a wide frequency range. With its explosive attack and its relatively short sustain, this china adds a distinct element to your sound. It never becomes too brash or irritating, and because of its Byzance pedigree, it offers a widely accepted and essentially traditional sound with that unmistakable china personality.
