Thanks to the great advancements of LED technology, Par fixtures don't need to be as big as they used to be. This Flat Par TW12 by American DJ has the same light output as a 500-watt Par 56, at a power consumption of just 60 watts. What's more, it produces different colours as well. All in all, this is a very versatile fixture that can be used for many different things.

American DJ Flat Par TW12: an overview

This fixture is equipped with twelve 3-in-1 5W TRI LEDs that are able to produce various shades of white light. As these are LEDs they can also create strobe light effects, which is something that wasn't possible with the conventional halogen bulbs. Thanks to its clever double bracket you can let the Flat Par TW12 stand on its own or fly it from a stand or truss.

Connecting this fixture

There are several ways via which you can access all of the Flat Par TW12's functions: an optional remote control, a stand-alone and a music-controlled mode. It can also be controlled via DMX with up to seven channels. The addressing can be adjusted on the rear of the Flat Par via a display and buttons.
