It's this bit of the process that the Prodipe Pro 8 V3 active studio monitor was made for. For a friendly and fair price, you get an 8" woofer, 1" tweeter and an excellent speaker.

The Prodipe Pro 8 V3 Monitor

The woofer and tweeter combo wields a frequency response of 50Hz to 22kHz and a fully-fledged output of 125 Watts RMS - more than enough range for popular music production. In terms of connections, this monitor provides unbalanced RCA ports, or balanced jack and XLR sockets, and if you need a little more meat in the bottom end, you can always link up a Prodipe Pro 10S V3 (not included) for deeper diving bass that reaches as low as 35Hz to ensure an even more detailed image of your mix.

Who Needs This?

Due to the insane price this monitor is being offered for, it's perfect for beginner producers, or engineers working with a budget. While it's tempting for beginners to just go for a hi-fi style setup, this is simply not the right path, since hi-fi audio reproduction is designed to colour in the sound for you - meaning that you're not actually hearing the 'true' mix. Studio monitors on the other hand, lay the bones of your mix bare so you know exactly what's happening and make detailed and accurate adjustments where needed. The surprising thing about the Pro 8 V3 is that the audio quality it's able to shape can be compared to models that come at a much higher price. Prominent engineers like Ludovic Lanen and Damon Sawyer are suitably impressed by the performance of this monitor, alongside applauded film composer Vladimir Cosma.
