The Audiophony PREZONE88 Mixer supplies eight inputs and eight outputs with a complete matrix where every input can be independently routed to each of the zones or every zone. Opening up the installation options, this mixer has been fully prepped to support public announcement systems when combined with compatible equipment like the Audiophony MIC-DESK and WS-8 or WP-8 control panel, which are simply hooked up via the fitted RJ45 port. To expand the system, up to four PREZONE88 matrix mixers can be chained, where the first unit in the chain serves as the master.
Safety First
The Audiophony PREZONE88 mixer can also serve as part of an emergency warning system. Simply hit the REC button and record a 60 second warning message via the PAGING MIC microphone integrated into the front panel and, when an alarm ports are connected to a smoke detection system, the message is automatically activated in the event of a fire. To prevent issues following power outages, this mixer also comes fitted with a 24 Volt emergency power supply, making it ideal for larger open spaces or complexes.
