Properties of the ATW-1102

This system uses the renowned 2.4GHz frequency band to transmit its signals, so that interference of TV and DTV are not a problem! You can use up to eight systems simultaneously and the displays on the microphone and receiver clearly show the ID number. The microphone operates on two 1.5V AA batteries and uses a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz for the audio signal.

Quality guaranteed

Audio Technica have taken three distinct measures to guarantee the signal's integrity. Firstly, the signal is transmitted over two frequencies (this is called Frequency Diversity), so that there is a kind of back-up function in effect. Secondly, Time Diversity keeps the signal of moving sources accurate. Finally, Space Diversity refers to the two antennas on the receiver - these ensure that the best signal of two can always be used.
