The DPA 4088F d:fine headset microphone offers the simple freedom to perform while the beige finish keeps it discreet against lighter skin tones. The fitted microphone has a directional pickup pattern so that, when pointed at the performer's mouth, any sound coming from behind the mic is ignored and for precise positioning, the arm has been made a little longer than that of the omni-directional version (the 4066F). The quality of sound registered by the 4088F is as formidable as you would expect of DPA and boasts a maximum SPL of 144dB that can withstand a scream as well as a whisper.
