The superb Aston Stealth microphone registers sound in broadcast-quality on stage as well as in the studio and comes with four selectable voicing options and is the first microphone ever produced to feature automatic phantom power detection. The outstanding Sorbothane internal shockmount effectively eliminates any contact noise while the Stealth build quality ensures a solid if not chic, minimalistic casing. This microphone is the result of a collaboration between Stealth and Aston 33, a group of 90 engineers, producers and artists, each of them world-renowned. The process of development involved a series of blind listening tests to accurately narrow down the best possible construction to ensure the very best possible sound quality. As such, we get four of the best to choose from via the voicing switch: Vocal 1, Vocal 2, Guitar and Dark. Each voice carries its very own character and the whole is calibrated to complete the most flexible microphone going.

Het is een goede microfoon, wel erg gevoelig (hij pakte zelfs de vogeltjes buiten op) maar dit is makkelijk op te lossen door het volume zachter te zetten en dichterbij te gaan zitten en/of een windscherm erbij kopen. De verschillende modes werken ook goed, het verschilt per persoon welke mode het beste klinkt maar de modes zijn wel vrij duidelijk in wat ze doen en voor bedoeld zijn.
