With the VR1 Voodoo Ribbon, sE Electronics are ushering in a new age! Until now, the only ribbon mic with a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz was the expensive Rupert Neve. sE have now also succeeded in manufacturing this frequency range.
This makes this microphone fit for recording piano, guitar, bass guitar and vocals. You will enjoy a beautiful, warm, vintage sound. Especially with acoustic instruments. This vintage sound is partly made possible by a frequency boost in the low frequencies and from 2,000 Hz, with a dip around 10,000 Hz. The microphone can be used in studios and on stage.
The Project Studio RF uses the same simple design as the Pro version. Its metal frame is aligned with the same patented polyester hardboard. The material has exceptional acoustic dampening properties, which are greatly superior to simpler foam layers. This is further aligned with a highly dense crystal foam with bent waves, which is very effective.
All this effort results in a good-looking product that looks and sounds even better when you are recording vocals and acoustic guitars.

Devine RF 40 filtro antiriflesso
Het reflectie scherm werkt perfect. Handig in de thuis studio . Makkelijk te installeren dus wat wil je nog meer
Of het veel toevoegt heb ik mijn vraagtekens over... Zorg wel dat je met je rug naar een wand staat wat ook demping heeft, anders werkt de filter averechts en krijg je alleen maar meer reflecties die je microfoon oppikt. Met alleen dit reflectiescherm ben je er dus niet...
Tip voor Bax: het zou heel handig zijn wanneer er in de tekst, of als set, een bijpassend statief wordt aangeboden. Op een gewoon microfoonstatief wordt het geheel wel erg wankel. Dus kijk meteen even naar een wat 'zwaarder' statief.
Na ontvangst van het reflectiefilter kon ik het niet gebruiken en moest ik nog apart een statief bestellen.
Verder wel aardig, maar of het zoveel extra brengt?? Nee, dat trek ik na een aantal opnames in twijfel.
Daarom, en het ontbreken over de info betr. het statief, deze 3 sterren.
Mooi afgewerkt en stevig gebouwd reflectiescherm van Devine. Helaas is het totaal onbruikbaar, gezien het een galm/reverb creëert tussen de 400Hz en 500Hz, daar waar een vrouwenstem zich bevind. Vreselijk onhandig dus bij opnames van stemmen. Geen aanrader dus.
Verminderd de reflecties voor mijn voice over werk enorm. Hele fijne oplossing voor iemand die beperkt budget heeft en toch een thuisstudio wilt opzetten.
