The Z5600a II tube microphone has received many prizes from the professional audio press all over the world. Many thousands are a fan of the ultra-clear and detailed tube sound and nine pickup patterns.
The sE Electronics Z5600a-II is one of the most versatile microphones around and is used in a variety of studios. It is a super vocal microphone and thanks to the nine gradual steps between the omni, cardioid and figure-8 pickup patterns, it is used for a variety of applications. You can use it to record drum kits, overheads and choirs.
The 12AX7 tube gives natural warmth and a great deal of detail to vocals. Recording acoustic instruments is also a piece of cake for the Z5600aII. It has a neat grey/silver finish and comes with a spider shockmount and power supply in a neat robust aluminium flightcase.
High-quality reflection screen
The Project Studio RF uses the same simple design as the Pro version. Its metal frame is aligned with the same patented polyester hardboard. The material has exceptional acoustic dampening properties, which are greatly superior to simpler foam layers. This is further aligned with a highly dense crystal foam with bent waves, which is very effective.
All this effort results in a good-looking product that looks and sounds even better when you are recording vocals and acoustic guitars.

Deze se5600all , beste microfoon ever. Na verschillende microfoons te hebben gehad in me studio carrière. Kan ik deze echt zwaar aanraden wat een upgrade , gelijk door de mix. Heb de mxl990 gehad wat een troep , se2200a 6/10, maar toen ik de rode nta 1 had ook goeie microfoon vooral voor beginnende mensen kan ik deze aanraden . Maar de z5600 beste van de beste wat ik ooit heb ervaren 🔥

Na bijna 2 weken gewacht te hebben heb ik hem eindelijk binnen. Heb veel verschilde microfoons gehad. Mxl 990, se2200a , rode nta 1 , en nu deze moet echt erbij zeggen je geld 100% waard deze microfoon is zo erg helder dat die al gemix is. Ben blij dat ik van mijn rode nta1 ben overgestapt na deze microfoon. Ondanks dat de rode nta1 ook echt geen verkeerde microfoon is. Als je twijfel welke microfoon je wilt kopen kan ik je echt aanraadden voor de SE z5600 te gaan flinke upgrade voor mijn studio van semi na pro te gaan

Of het veel toevoegt heb ik mijn vraagtekens over... Zorg wel dat je met je rug naar een wand staat wat ook demping heeft, anders werkt de filter averechts en krijg je alleen maar meer reflecties die je microfoon oppikt. Met alleen dit reflectiescherm ben je er dus niet...
Tip voor Bax: het zou heel handig zijn wanneer er in de tekst, of als set, een bijpassend statief wordt aangeboden. Op een gewoon microfoonstatief wordt het geheel wel erg wankel. Dus kijk meteen even naar een wat 'zwaarder' statief.
Na ontvangst van het reflectiefilter kon ik het niet gebruiken en moest ik nog apart een statief bestellen.
Verder wel aardig, maar of het zoveel extra brengt?? Nee, dat trek ik na een aantal opnames in twijfel.
Daarom, en het ontbreken over de info betr. het statief, deze 3 sterren.

Mooi afgewerkt en stevig gebouwd reflectiescherm van Devine. Helaas is het totaal onbruikbaar, gezien het een galm/reverb creëert tussen de 400Hz en 500Hz, daar waar een vrouwenstem zich bevind. Vreselijk onhandig dus bij opnames van stemmen. Geen aanrader dus.
