Its IP66 rating shows that it is completely sealed off so that water has no chance of reaching the housing’s interior or the electric parts. This means that it is perfectly capable of being used outdoors and that rain, snow or hail won't affect its operation. The cast-aluminium housing is very sturdy and doubles as a natural LED heatsink. The hardened glass lens allows for great optic properties.
