Boasting professional specifications while taking up as little space as possible, the Roland V-Drums TD-50K2 electronic kit sets you up with hyper-realistic sound and drum and cymbal pads that bear deep-design at every level; from the look to the dynamic range and articulation and positioning. Just close your eyes, and you're essentially sitting at an acoustic kit.

The TD-50x Module

The pounding heart of this electric kit is the TD-50x module. Where most e-kits are designed for more sociable home rehearsing, the TD-50x has been designed specifically for the stage and studio. As such, alongside a set of stereo master outputs, this module comes fitted with eight balanced outputs, giving each drum component a dedicated send to the mixing desk. For sound techs, this is like mixing an acoustic kit but with even more control and accuracy. Meanwhile, a USB output can be used for 32 channel recording or streaming via direct connection to a computer.

Digital Pads

The TD-50K2 comes with a PD-140DS snare pad, a CY-18DR ride pad, and a VH-14D hi-hat pad, all off which are connected to the module via USB, and all of which use progressive digital triggering which responds to strike placement and articulation as well as velocity. This advanced tech not only raises performance, but pulls optimum response out of the Roland Prismatic Sound Modeling that produces the core sound of this kit.
