Roland serve up a fully-adjustable drum kit for drummers of any age. The Roland TD-1DMK comes with double-mesh-head drum triggers for near silent practising and a folding design that can be packed down into a tight, space-saving unit. This electronic kit can be set up super-low for younger, growing drummers or at a standard height for fully-grown beginners, and provides professional-grade drum sound.

The Roland TD-1DMK includes everything needed to kickstart any illustrious tub-thumping career: a kick pad, snare, three toms, two cymbals, and a hi-hat. The kick pad is mounted to the frame and can be set up with a standard single kick pedal, or even with a double kick pedal to play metal-style bomb-blast rolls, while the 8-inch snare and 6-inch toms have all been fitted with double mesh-heads to ensure the natural rebound and playing feel of an acoustic kit.

The Roland TD-1 Module

The no-fuss control panel of the TD-1 module of this kit bears a simple design that's just as simple to navigate. Every button has a clear function and there's no over-complex menu to tackle before you can find what you want. Instead, what you get is the pick of fifteen professional-sounding kits and 15 built-in training tracks in different styles. Once you've mastered those, you can hook up your smartphone, tablet, or laptop to play along with and nail your favourite tracks, and to give you that all important leg-up, Roland have loaded in a number of helpful coaching functions complete with ten different practice modules, which can be taken a step further when you download Melodics; an app that's been specially developed for V-Drums and offers countless drumming lessons. Once you've started weaving beats of your own, the TD-1 can simply be hooked up to a computer, so you can record them directly to your recording software of choice.
