Simple and classic: the Orange Sustain is a modern rendition of a seventies boss. Wrapped in a fat aluminium box, this compressor pedal lovingly smooths out your guitar sound to ensure consistent volume. The fact is, this brick of a stompbox would never have been possible if a photo of an obscure vintage pedal didn't appear on an online forum alongside some hand-drawn schematics. Set up the Orange Sustain to serve as an overdrive for your clean tone or as a straight-up compressor that's able to even out the volume without losing clarity and resulting in a long, sweet and warm sustain. As a nice little detail, the LED indicator automatically switches from blue to purple as soon as the gain reduction is active, and naturally, this Orange pedal has been built with pride in the UK.
