You love the classic Laney Ironheart sound, but would rather not lug a heavy valve top around to every gig. The Ironheart Foundry IRF120-212 combines the best of both worlds: an analogue topology that replicates the behaviour of the original Ironheart valve circuit, in a compact 2x12-inch combo. There’s no modelling algorithm or digital processing in the signal path, so what you play is what you hear. With 120 watts, you can effortlessly fill any stage, and thanks to the switchable Low Power mode of less than 1 watt, you can practise at home just as easily without waking the neighbours. Two fully independent channels give you the freedom to switch from an open rhythm sound to a saturated lead sound, just as you’d expect from a genuine Ironheart amplifier.

Connections for studio and stage

Each channel has its own 3-band EQ, so you can decide for yourself how warm, open or aggressive your tone sounds. A footswitchable boost acts as an extra pedal for your amp, and the built-in digital reverb adds space without the need for a separate pedal. Using the LA·IR switch, you can simulate a Laney GS112 or GS412 cabinet, so your DI output and headphone output instantly deliver a full-bodied cabinet sound – ideal for home recording or feeding directly into the PA. The USB-C port turns the combo into an audio interface, allowing you to record directly into your DAW, and with the free LA·IR app, you can further customise the cabinet simulation using a parametric EQ. This makes playing live just as easy as recording.
