This limited edition Blackstar FLY 3 has been given a stylish green British coat for the occasion, which only adds to the allure of this great little practice amp. Its controls work very intuitively. Just like with its bigger brothers, you can activate the Blackstar ISF system to seamlessly switch between a typical American or a British sound. The Blackstar Fly 3 was a great amp to begin with, and its new British Green coat has made it absolutely fabulous.

Blackstar FLY 3: versatile mini guitar amplifier

The controls on the Blackstar Fly 3 are child's play. The gain button controls the amount of distortion on both channels (clean and overdrive), from a light crunch to a heavy metal high gain. There is even a programmable built-in delay effect of which you can adjust the speed and level. In short: it's a versatile little combo that's practical for beginners, but also advanced guitarists who are looking for a compact travelling amp.

Practical inputs and outputs

To jam along with your favourite tunes or backing track, the Blackstar FLY 3 features an MP3/line input. There's also a headphone output with speaker emulation which doubles as a line output for recording. On the rear, there is a compartment for 6 AA batteries and an input for an optional 6.5-volt adapter. Last but not least, there's a RJ45 connector that allows you to create a 6-watt stereo setup with the optional Blackstar FLY 103 Extension CAB.

Prima oefenversterkertje. Ik heb deze gekocht omdat ik vaker wilde oefenen en niet elke keer mijn versterker wilde optuigen en mijn buren wakker houden.
Ondanks zijn formaat een goed geluid. Natuurlijk niet te vergelijken met een volledige versterker, maar voor 3 Watt echt uitzonderlijke prestaties!
