Descrizione

The Loar acoustic archtop guitar is an exact replica of the original model from the turn of the twentieth century. The name 'archtop' literally refers to the arched top and is very popular amongst jazz musicians. However, blues and new-country musicians also like this guitar for its solid wood construction and distinct sound.

The Loar LH-600-VS: Solid

The Loar is a solid acoustic guitar made using the best types of wood. This model features a solid, graduated spruce top, which means that the top gets slightly thinner from the centre towards the rim, which enhances the quality and transfer of vibration to the sides. The sides and rear are made of beautiful flamed maple, which you don't often see on guitars in this price range.

Design and Tone

The LH-600-VS features a vintage sunburst style, and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Because of the ultra-thin layer, the wood can freely resonate without too much resistance which ensures a crystal-clear sound. Due to its solid construction and the wood types used, this classically designed archtop model produces a tight tone with a lot of volume that any jazz guitarist will love!
