The ES-335 is one of the most popular semi-acoustic guitar models there is and The Dot is Epiphone's take on this true icon. It delivers the same classic sound as the ES-335, but it costs just a fraction of the price! It doesn't skimp on quality either and also offers the same look and feel. The body is made of maple and it has a mahogany neck with a SlimTaper 'D' profile. It's perfect for playing styles like blues, country, rock and even soul and pop. The sound is clear and bright without the trebles ever becoming too sharp.
Dot: Alnico V humbuckers
The characteristic sound of this Epiphone thinline ES is accurately delivered to your amplifier by two Alnico V humbucker pickups. There's a double-coil Alnico Classic at the neck and an Alnico Classic Plus at the bridge that has a slightly higher output. The Dot also features Grover machine heads that are extremely accurate. There's a fixed LockTone stopbar and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge that make changing strings a piece of cake. If you're looking for a good-quality semi-acoustic guitar that offers real value for money, it'll be hard to find anything better than this!
