Descrizione

Graced with a fistful of decadent upgrades, including a quilted maple top and Throwback Scroll-Style headstock, the D'Angelico Excel SS has been taken to the XT. While this is the XT edition, the unbelievable comfort of the original Excel SS has been retained in the 15 inch wide body, single-cut shaping, thin-C neck profile and Jescar 47/104 nickel frets. Finished with a lightweight, feedback-eliminating centreblock, this model delivers sonic authenticity on top of effortless style.

The D'Angelico Excel SS XT: Opulent Sound

A Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker planted at the neck and bridge come backed up by decades of proven service. Hand built in California, these pickups combine with the hollow-body of the XT to deliver a sumptuous output packed with sweet warmth and just the right amount of high-end sparkle. Pop out the push-pull tone pots the single-coil voicing is activated per pickup to double the versatility. To finish, you're getting the full D'Angelico treatment plus all the trimmings: from the Deco-style tuning buttons to the pinstriped ebony control pots and gold hardware.
