The American Schecter brand makes instruments for guitar connoisseurs. What started as a guitar parts manufacturer is now the creator of carefully and manually assembled top-quality instruments . The Blackjack ATX C-1 is a beautiful example, especially in its Aged Black Satin finish. Thanks to its arched top and elegantly designed body, the Blackjack ATX C-1 exudes proper quality. With regards to its playability, this sharp axe is fully ready to deal with the rough stuff, providing for everything a metal guitarist needs to get going.

Schecter Blackjack ATX C-1: construction

The Blackjack follows a tried and tested concept: a solid mahogany body and neck for a full, fat sound. The neck is set into the body and features an Ultra Access heel so your hand won't be obstructed when you want to play solos high up the fretboard. Additionally, the ebony fretboard is a must for those who like a tight sound. What's more, the 24 extra-jumbo frets won't leave you groping in the dark, allowing the perfect surface for rapid playing.

Seymour Duncan Blackout

The two humbuckers on this Schecter are made by the famous Seymour Duncan company. Both at the bridge and at the neck is an active SD Blackout AHB-1, made for aggressive types of music such as old-school metal, punk and thrash, and it's also great for drop tunings. The balanced AHB-1 produces lorry loads of tone (deep bass, powerful trebles) at a very low noise level. Two volume controls, a common tone control and - of course - a three way pickup switch complete this powerhouse. Hook it up to a tube stack and you're ready for an amazing performance!

Ha scritto quanto segue su Schecter Blackjack ATX C-1 Aged Black Satin

Deze gitaar is gewoon perfect volgens mij. Ik heb vroeger een gitaar met EMG's gehad, dat ik niet zo graag had, dus ik was eigenlijk van plan om de blackouts in deze schecter te verplaatsen, omdat ik bang was dat ze hetzelfde zouden klinken dan de EMG's, mar het is helemaal niet et geval. Deze Seymour Duncan's zijn echt beesten, en met de bespeelbaarheid van deze gitaar is dezeinstrument gewoon geweldig. Het is niet mijn eerste Schecter, en ik ben telkens zeer aangenaam verbaasd geweest met de qualiteit. Zeker aan te raden !
De hardware is ook goed, en daarbij is ze ook super schoon. Ik ben mezelf aan het afvragen of ik de hardware ga verplaatsen voor dezelfde elementen, maar in goud (om de stijl van de LTD ec-1000 vb te kopiëren :p)
