Descrizione
In the eighties, the brand Jackson rose to fame with guitars that completely suited the needs of metal guitarists. Time has passed, but with the Misha Mansoor signature models, Jackson shows that they have stayed with the times. Just like Mansoor's custom model, these signature models are also custom built. It's clear that this extraordinary guitar has received a lot of love and attention.
Construction
The basswood body of the Juggernaut HT6 might look like one of a traditional Jackson Dinky. However, when you look at it more closely, you'll see that the body has been improved with deeper cutaways for even better access to the higher frets. The maple neck has an ebony fretboard with a radius of no less than 20 inches, which makes playing riffs a lot easier. Like with most luxurious Jacksons, the guitar's neck has been reinforced with a graphite truss rod, which can be easily reached by means of a thumb wheel at the neck. The reversed AT1 headstock has been designed in such a way that the strings run straight through the string nut. This, in combination with the Hipshot locking tuners and the fixed bridge, provides an incredibly stable guitar.
Misha Mansoor
As the founder of progressive metal band Periphery, Misha Mansoor is often considered the forerunner of Djent music. His style is characterised by high gain and heavy palm-muted chords in combination with complex polyrhythmics and virtuoso solos. Mansoor also works as a producer and songwriter - he co-wrote the debut album of another Djent sensation Animals As Leaders. He produced all of Periphery’s material. 2015 marks the bands ten-year anniversary, looking back on one of the most innovative metal albums of the decade.
