This white Stratocaster straight out of Fender's Mexican Standard series is truly a sight to behold. More importantly, however, it has the distinct Strat sound. Contrary to traditional Stratocasters, this Standard Strat features two humbucker pickups, making it the perfect guitar for heavier types of music.

Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster HH RW OLW: body

The body of this guitar is made of an exceptionally lightweight type of wood: alder. Alder is also responsible for the perfectly balanced base tone of this white Stratocaster. Combined with two humbuckers, this instrument produces the familiar Fender sound with proper body. Furthermore, Fender opted to give this guitar a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, a common combination that warrants smooth playability. The black pickguard and black and white pickups complete the picture, assuring an overall stylish look.

Electronics and hardware

As we may expect from a Strat, this guitar also has a classic tremolo bridge that allows you to easily implement subtle tone bends into your playing. Two tone knobs subsequently allow you to adjust the tone to your liking and the 3-way pickup switch lets you select the desired pickup configuration. Naturally a volume control is also present, allowing for subtle tone alterations - just like on other guitars with passive electronics. The chrome-plated hardware is the cherry on top!
