It could very well be that you're in the mood for a guitar that isn't so loud (in the colour department, that is). In this case, the white Dimavery TL-201 might be just the guitar for you. This '50s T-model guitar features a solid basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck. It is equipped with two single-coil pickups and a solid bridge with adjustable saddles. The cutaway makes it easier to play the highest frets. The natural-coloured neck and chromed hardware make this guitar look fresh.

TL-201: clear, sparkling sound.

The duo of single-coil pickups on the TL-201 produce the clear, direct and sparkling sound that is characteristic for this type of guitar. It is often used by country, funk and blues guitarists, but thanks to its bright bite, it is also commonly heard in punk and rock music.

Ease of use

To adjust its sound to your personal preference, the TL-201 is equipped with a volume and a tone control. The tone knob lets you gradually filter out high frequencies. The three-position pickup switch allows you to choose between the bridge pickup, the neck pickup, or a combination of both for a distinctive sound that can be described as 'metallic' (also known as Twang). Ideal for cleans and blues.

The included gig bag lets you transport this guitar safely and easily. What's more, it comes with a guitar strap, an instrument cable, a set of picks and a set of spare strings.

Prima gitaartje voor dat geld. Of eerder: gitaar, want het ding weegt nogal wat. Daardoor veel klank en sustain. Ik bespeel haar zelf voor opnames en dergelijke en zij (het is een zij) laat zich graag en heerlijk bespelen. 't Eerste exemplaar (Sunburst) had een ratel op de 7e fret - dat werd meteen door Bax omgewisseld. 't Geluid is wat je van een Tele verwacht: helder, transparant en Twaingggg. De hals if vrij dik maar lekker bespeelbaar en (!) de elektronica is gewoon keurig stil. Geen vervelende brom of ruis. Eigenlijk ongelofelijk dat je voor dat geld zo'n prima massieve gitaar kunt kopen. Crème met wit en chroom - helemaal fifties. Ik ben er blij mee.

Erg mooie gitaar! Mooie, gladde hals. Hierdoor speelt hij erg gemakkelijk. Inderdaad de set snaren die erop zit snel vervangen met andere snaren! De kabel die is meegeleverd zou ik ook vervangen door een andere kabel, deze veroorzaakt namelijk een heleboel ruis op de versterker. Veel plezier met deze goedkope maar wel kwalitatief goede gitaar!

Voor zijn prijs, is dit een redelijk goede gitaar om mee te jammen en opnames te doen ! Zeker een aanrader voor beginners, studio gebruikers of gewoon mensen die eens goed willen jammen. Een tip... de fabriekssnaren niet lang er laten opleggen want het klinkt stukken beter met een setje deftige snaren, één iets viel me wel op dat de nek zeer soepel speel en goed aanvoelt. Ik blijf dit merk wel opvolgen want als hun goedkopere gitaar al zo deftig zijn dan kunnen de duurde alleen maar beter zijn ! Een merk om in het ook te houden. Ik kreeg een betere gitaar dan verwacht voor deze prijs !
