Construction

The top of the Fender MC-1 is made of sapele. The sides and back of this guitar are made of agathis and nato. Its nato neck features an 18-fret rosewood fretboard. Sapele, agathis and nato are wood types that have similar tonal properties to mahogany, giving this ¾-size guitar a remarkably pleasant, warm tone.
