If you're an electric guitarist who occasionally plays a steel-string, and you miss the warm tones of a classical model but don't like the traditional wide neck, then the Caballero 11 Cutaway Electric Mahogany Neck Maple by Manuel Rodriguez is sure to be your cup of tea. It features a slender D 44.45mm-wide neck that is significantly more narrow than that of a standard Spanish guitar. This enhances the playability, especially if you're used to the width of an electric. The Caballero 11 is now also adorned with the Nature label, which means it's been constructed in an environmentally-conscious way with sustainable woods.

Caballero 11 Cutaway Electric Mahogany Neck Maple: some like it hot

Apart from the cutaway, the Cabarello 11 is a pretty traditional design. The flamed maple back and sides look especially tasteful and in combination with the solid spruce top, produce a clear tone with plenty of low and a bright snap in the highs. A small recess in the heel (a.k.a the Spanish Heel) ensures that the highest frets are easily accessible. The mahogany D-shaped neck with Indian rosewood fretboard is lightly bevelled and boasts 21 frets.
