To celebrate the 75 years it's been since Leo Fender founded the company back in 1946, Fender present the 75th Anniversary Commemorative Jazz Bass. Besides its iconic design and timeless contours, this modern J-style bass features various stylish characteristics that lift the whole thing to a higher level in terms of aesthetics, including a stunning 2-tone Bourbon Burst finish and gold-plated hardware. It's these finishing touches as well as the included deluxe moulded hard-shell case that make it fully clear that you're looking at a rather special example here.

The 75th Anniversary Commemorative Jazz Bass: A Familiar Light Feel, A Little Extra Bite and a Sophisticated Growl

When it comes that legendary Fender Jazz Bass feel, the shape of the body and the maple neck of this celebratory model speak volumes and combine with a rosewood fretboard, a 9.5" radius and 20 medium jumbo frets for classic, easy-going playability. The solid ash body has been mounted with two over-wound Custom Shop '60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups for optimally balanced amplified sound full of tight lows and defined mids, plus a little extra bite and a sophisticated growl. These pickups come with individual volume pots and a shared tone pot so you can dial in your favourite sound and, to finish, Fender have installed a solid 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge so you can either top-load fresh strings or route them through the body.
