Dipped in a refreshing and worldly colour, the Fender Made in Japan Limited International Color Jazz Bass is a faithful reissue of the MIJ Traditional Series model that was released back in the eighties. Combining Japanese craft with original American specs, this limited-edition Fender bass boasts a first-class build and comes complete with a matching gig bag.

The International Color Jazz Bass: Fat Mid-Rich Foundation Sound

The comfortable Jazz Bass body has been carved out of basswood, not only to keep the weight down, but to beef up the mid-range of the acoustic foundation sound. The body has been fixed to a period-correct, U-profile maple neck via a 3-bolt join, which combines with twenty medium jumbo frets for optimum playing comfort while a pair of vintage-style single-coil pickups and standard-issue volume and tone pots cover a broad spectrum of classic Fender sounds. The old-school vibe of the International Color Jazz Bass is completed by a vintage bridge and set of vintage-style tuners.
