This rugged instrument is a signature bass guitar that was the result of a collaboration between ESP and Slayer singer/bass player Tom Araya. The LTD TA-204 is the successor of the TA-200 and it features a beautiful, leaf-like Forest-model body as well as a high-gloss black lacquer and comfortable body bevels that beautifully match the black headstock and dark-coloured hardware. Special pentagram position markers adorn the rosewood fretboard.

TA-204: body, neck and pickups

The basswood body of the TA-204 is pleasantly light of weight, while its deep cutaways give you plenty of room around the highest frets. Another great feature for unhindered bass playing is this guitar's slender U-profile neck. To ensure that a powerful, warm, delightfully full and not-too-clean sound reaches your amplifier, the TA-204 is equipped with two ESP SB-4 humbuckers.
