The ambitious little brother

The Hohner family has some pretty big names: the Special 20, Marine Band, Blues Harp and Big River Harp, to name a few.for starters, but tThe Happy Color Harp, however, can definitely stand its ground amongst its bigger brothers, so to speak. Hohner equipped this harmonica with real brass reeds and an aluminium reed plate. To extend its longevity, they gave it an ABS plastic comb that is the same bright green colour as the plastic cover plates and sides. The cover plates are matte and the comb itself is transparent. The mouthpiece, which is an extension of the comb, is also made from ABS plastic, and plays very smoothly. AsBecause the cover plates are designed ergonomically, this harmonica sits nicely in your hand.

Suitable for lessons

This fun and funky harmonica is 10 centimetres long and has 10 holes distributed over its entire length. It's a diatonic harmonica, which means that you can make different tones by either blowing or drawing air through the holes. In total, the Happy Color Harp is capable of 20 different tones. This particular one is tuned to the key of C, which is commonly used in instruction books and lessons.
